PrivacyTrace is built to help people find exposure, reduce risk, and stay in control. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use user information for unrelated purposes.

No selling personal data

PrivacyTrace does not sell, rent, trade, or broker user personal information. We also do not use sensitive user data for advertising profiles.

Local-first MVP storage

The current app stores dashboard, broker, alias, scam-risk, profile, and credit-dispute records in your browser local storage.

Network actions are intentional

When you use AI-assisted features, account sync, or a generated request, the app may send only the information needed to complete that specific action.

User-controlled deletion

The app includes delete controls for saved local privacy data. Clearing browser storage also removes the current MVP records from that device.

Information you enter may include names, emails, phone numbers, state, broker records, scam-check text, extension scan summaries, and credit-dispute details. The current MVP keeps saved product data in browser local storage unless a feature clearly performs an AI, account-sync, or network action.

AI-assisted tools can send the prompt and relevant context to the configured AI provider when AI Mode is selected. Local Mode avoids those AI calls and uses local rules or templates where available.

PrivacyTrace should not be used to store documents or secrets that you do not want on the current device. This MVP is not yet a full encrypted account vault.
